Alfredo Sauce

Simple and yummy.

  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • one onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 Tbls lemon juice
  • 1 cup veggie broth


Soak 1/2 cup of raw cashews for a few hours.

Saute onions and garlic until soft in a bit of oil or broth.

Put onions, garlic and all remaining ingredients in a high speed blender and blend for 3-4 minutes.

Pour over pasta (possibly with sauteed mushrooms)
