Quick marinate it in veggie broth with added spices (sage, turmeric, garlic powder, parsley, pepper)
For the batter:
Dry mix: flour, onion powder, salt, pepper, cayenne, paprika.
Wet mix: flour, salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika, SPARKLING water, a little bit of hot sauce.
Dip dry – wet – dry, and then fry til freaking delicious.
