Pantry Supplies

These are the things I like to have in my pantry.  As I try out new recipes, I often add some other item to the pantry and eventually I have a lot of more odd items.  But this to me is the basics.  For most of this, I can find it at the local supermarket.   The rarer ones are from Amazon.com.  And sometimes, I find I can get a better deal at Amazon compared to the small spice jar as the local grocery store.

Dry Pantry

  • Tomatoes of some sort
  • Bell Peppers.  Sometimes I have on hand red, yellow and orange
  • Green Onions

  • Carrots (either whole or the baby ones)
  • Celery

Jars.  Many items I like in jars because it is easier to seal and put back in the frig when you only need a portion of the jar.  A can of the same product would force me to figure out how to seal it up again.  But if you can’t find it in a jar, a can will also work.

  • Sundried Tomatoes
  • Jalapenos, sliced.  Mild
  • Roasted Red Peppers
  • Pickles.
  • Salsa
  • Marinara Sauce
