Burritos are an easy “go-to” food for a vegan.  You simply need tortillas (made without lard of course) and some ingredients.  You can even make your own tortillas to really take it up a notch, if you have the time.

Heat tortilla over flame or in a pan.

Add ingredients.  Roll.  Eat.

Possible Ingredients:

  • Black Beans
  • Refried beans (no lard)
  • Daiya or other vegan cheese
  • Avocado slices
  • Salsa
  • Rice
  • Onion, chopped
  • Cilantro, chopped
  • Guacamole
  • Ground Tofurkey chorizo flavored
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Chopped tomatoes

To add extra naughtiness…. fry the rolled burrito in a pan using Earth Balance spread.  Vegan chimchanga!
