Fish Filets


  • 1 package firm tofu, pressed
  • 1/4 cup corn meal
  • 1/2 cup chickpea flour
  • 1 nori sheet, ground up
  • 1 tsp dill seed
  • 1 Tbls lemon juice
  • 1 /2 cup of plant milk
  • salt and pepper

Mix all ingredients except tofu.  Batter should be thick like a pancake batter, use milk as required to thin.

Slice tofu into slabs 1/2 thick.  Coat with batter.

Fry in pan with 1/4″ deep hot oil.  Turn when golden.

Serve with tarter sauce

Tarter Sauce


  • Just Mayo or Veganaise
  • Relish
  • Salt and Pepper.


Mix in a bowl 1/2 cup of mayo, add in 1 Tbls relish.  Mix and salt and pepper to taste.
