Rice Paper Bacon

How to make bacon from rice paper.



  • Dry rice paper
  • 1/4 cup Tamari or Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 T Garlic Powder
  • 1 t Liquid Smoke
  • 1 t Maple Syrup
  • 1 t Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper

Preheat over to 400 degrees F

Place two rice paper sheets together.  Cut (knife must be sharp) rice paper into bacon strips

Mix all ingredients in a bowl with a whisk

Wet rice paper with a brush and stick the each of the two pieces together so it is double thick.

Brush outside with water.
Brush both sides with marinade.

Place on parchment paper on a baking sheet.
Bake for 7-9 minutes.
